The M-Pesa prompt did not appear

The PIN prompt comes from Safaricom to your phone. It fails when the phone is locked or busy, the number is wrong, or another payment is waiting.

What to do

1. Check the number on the payment page starts with your own number (07… or 01…).
2. Unlock the phone and close other M-Pesa menus.
3. Wait one minute, then press "Pay" again. A payment that did not go through is never charged.
4. If money left your account but access did not start, use "I already paid" with the M-Pesa code.
5. Owners: if many customers report this at once, open Money in the app: each failed payment shows the reason M-Pesa gave.
